Peace Harmony is one of the best restaurants in the Sydney CBD city area to come for vegetarian food. With a range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free Thai food.
Peace Harmony Vegetarian Thai Restaurant has a range of traditional Thai curries and stir fries and a nice selection of entrees which are all vegetarian. Though a look at the menu may be confusing as you will see on the menu dishes like BBQ Chicken Soy, Chicken Satay and roasted duck curry. It may mention meat dishes on the menu though all these dishes are made with vegetable meat substitutes using tofu and tempeh.
They have a great lunch special for $15.50 for a choice of 2 different entree pieces including money bags, curry puffs, satay stick, 1 choice of a Thai curry and a can of soft drink. For an extra $1.50, instead of the Thai curry you can choose some of the other dishes like Crispy Pad Cha, Harmony Soy Fish, BBQ Soy Chicken or Crispy bean curd.
I have been into Peace and Harmony many times for lunch and the food is always great quality and delicious! I am a meat eater but I really enjoy the vego food here. My recent visit I went for the lunch special with a satay stick, curry puff and a Red Thai Curry which is full of great vegetables, tofu, crispy tofu and some vege chicken meat substitute.
Peace Harmony is located on Erskine Street around 5 minutes walk from Wynyard Train Station. There are a few tables and chairs at street level with more tables and chairs downstairs and upstairs. Out the front of the restaurant is a large sign with a Chinese Character meaning ‘Vegan’.
