Bondi Pizza is a very popular pizza restaurant located on Church Street Parramatta, down the far end, near Parramatta River. This section of Church Street has been named ‘Parramatta’s Eat Street’, as this section is lined with a load of great restaurants and cafes. Bondi pizza first opened at Bondi Beach back in 2009 and quickly opened their stores in Parramatta and Macquarie Park.
I only got to try their Pizza in March 2022 and was very impressed with their tasty, thin crust pizza. I had their pepperoni pizza ($25) which comes with traditional Italian pepperoni, roma tomatoes, bocconcini & fresh mint. This was really good! Finally a great Italian pizza, not overloaded with too many toppings and with a nice thin, crispy crust rather than those thick doughy pizza you get in most pizza joints in Sydney.
It was very tasty but my only complaint would be the price. This was not a huge pizza, just the right size to feed 1 person, so at $25 I feel the prices are a bit high to get top marks from me!
The service has changed to a no contact service. There is a QR code on the table which you use to order and pay for the food via Mr Yum. This does speed up the service as you are not waiting to get the attention of the waiter to place your order or at the end of the meal when you want to pay. You order, pay, eat and then leave.
As well as a good selection of different pizza, on the menu they have a selection of pasta, salads and steaks.
They also have some very tasty desserts on the menu.
Bondi pizza is a fully licenced restaurant with an excellent wine list. At the back of the restaurant they have a floor to ceiling wine cabinet with all the wines on display.
