Sky Chinese Restaurant has now closed down!

Sky Broadbeach Chinese Restaurant is located on Surf Parade in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. A Cantonese style restaurant serving up Yum Cha daily at lunch time and al a carte Cantonese menu at night time.

Sky Broadbeach Chinese Yum Cha Restaurant

I went in for Yum Cha at Sky Broadbeach. I am used to having Yum Cha in the large Chinese restaurants in Sydney Chinatown which have the trolleys coming around as soon as you sit down. At Sky Broadbeach they don’t have trolleys coming around. You order off the menu. I did see some waitresses coming around carrying trays with a few dishes on it but it’s just not the same as the mystery trolleys in the larger Chinese restaurants in Sydney.

Steamed prawn dumplings at Sky Broadbeach

I ordered up a few plates of my favourite Yum Cha dishes including some steamed prawn dumplings, some flat rice noodles, some baked BBQ pork dumplings.

I also had some yummy Shanghai soup dumplings. These dumplings didn’t look the best but the tasted alright.

The Yum Cha dishes I had were very tasty so a good choice for Chinese food in Broadbeach. Sky Broadbeach also have fresh seafood tanks in the restaurant so you can choose your own fresh fish, lobster or crabs.
