Awesome Khao Soi Noodle Soup at Chiang Mai Airport

Located in the departure hall of Chiang Mai International Airport is the excellent Khao Soi House Restaurant which serves up the famous Khao Soi Noodle Soup which is the best noodle soup you can eat in Thailand. The Khao Soi Noodle Soup is traditional food from Northern Thialand. I visited Chiang Mai for the first time in July 2022 and on my list of things to top was to try Khao Soi. Once I got to the airport to return to Bangkok I realised I still had not tried this delicious noodle soup so luckily I found Khao Soi House and got to try it here. Khao Soi is now my favourite Thai Dish.

Once you walk into the main entrance of Chiang Mai International Airport, turn to the right and you will find Khao Soi House right next to the exit doors.

This may be an airport restaurant but the prices are reasonable and the food is delicious.

Khao Soi is a delicious noodle soup made with egg noodles, topped with crispy noodles. The soup broth is packed full of herbs and spices and coconut milk. This is not a spicy noodle soup like a laska but still packed full of flavour.

I had my Khao Soi Noodle Soup with chicken, the chicken came with the bone in it. I had a nice juicy chicken leg. You can get the soup with pork or vegetarian.
