Great Pub Food at Shelbourne Hotel Sydney City

Shelbourne Hotel is a classic Australian pub in the heart of the Sydney city CBD dating back to 1902. With 3 different levels, the Shelbourne has it’s main bar and bistro on the middle level, a gaming room downstairs and a very cool rooftop bar on the top level. A great Aussie pub serving all your classic pub food and showing some of the top sporting events. Located on Sussex Street, down the road from Town Hall Station, and just across from Darling Harbour.

The food at Shelbourne is top notch! The menu has a great selection of pub meals like burgers, steaks, seafood, Chicken schnitzel and they have a selection of items which is great for sharing. I went in and had their delicious Beef Burger ($25) which is served with a pile of delicious chips. This is a very tasty burger!

The Shelbourne Hotel is not your classic sports bar but they do show a few of the major sporting events throughout the year including the Melbourne Cup Horse Race in November and the NFL Superbowl.
